  • Recipients of academic excellence awards with Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and others during the Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho conclave at Ura Academy Hall, Kohima.


  • DIMAPUR — The second day of the ongoing Ura Academy annual Tenyidie seminar witnessed the Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho (TKK) conclave held at Ura Academy Hall, Kohima.

  • According to an update, the first formal session was led by Dzüzienuo Yhome, president of TKK, while Dziesevizo Keditsu, vice President, delivered the welcome address.

  • Dr. Keduolhoulie Belho, associate professor at Kohima College, and Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, president of Ura Academy, spoke during the programme.

  • During the event, the Ura Academy Academic Excellence Awards were presented to the recipients.

  • Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire Award (HSLC Tenyidie subject top scorer):  Menosieno Nydia, Living Tree School

  • Rüzhükhrie Sekhose Award (HSSLC Tenyidie subject top scorer):  Vikhono Senotsu, Government Higher Secondary School, Jotsoma

  • A Kevichüsa Award (B.A. Tenyidie HIGHEST CGPA):  Nishekhono Thami, Oriental College, Kohima

  • Nini Vinguriaü Lungalang Award (HSSLC Music subject top scorer):  L Zonisen Longkumer, Patkai Higher Secondary School

  • The second session of the day featured various competitions among schools and colleges.

  • The judges for the drama competition were Dr. Neiphrezonuo Mepfhü, Neizoviü Sekhose, and Kelhoulenuo Keyho from Lidi Kro-u. The singing competition was judged by Khrietuo Suokhrie from Glissando Music School and Avinuo Metha, Assistant Music Secretary, PBKK. The essay, poetry, and short story categories were judged by the Ura Dze Editorial Team.

  • 3rd – Thejakhrienuo Nyusou (Mezhür HSS)

  • Poetry Writing

  • 1st – Vizoneinuo Rote (Mezhür HSS)
  • 2nd – Dievinuo Rio (Northfield)
  • 3rd – Ketulhuneiü (Rüzhükhrie GHSS)

  • Singing (Solo)

  • 1st – Thejavir Tseikhanuo (Northfield)
  • 2nd – Keneingunuo Liezietsu (Don Bosco HSS)
  • 3rd – Khrüvolü Rhakho (Mezhür HSS)

  • Drama

  • 1st – Khedi Baptist HSS
  • 2nd – Don Bosco HSS
  • 3rd – Mezhür HSS

  • The third day (May 30) of the Ura Academy seminar will feature the Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo programme with Asano Sekhose, Retd. Chairperson of NBSE, and Dr. Hovithal Sothu, Director of TaFMA, as speakers in the first session. This will be followed by a ‘Discussion on the Usage of the Tenyidie Language in Educational Institutions.’

  • Later in the evening, the culmination programme will be held. The Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) and the Angami Public Organisation (APO) will be the guests of honour and will exhort the event. Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, will be the speaker.
