Dimapur, Jan. 13 (EMN): Singer, songwriter and composer Temsumongba Ozukum has announced the release of his new music video titled "Tsungrotsutonga Akangashi” (To prepare well hurriedly) on Feb. 14 which will also be available on his YouTube channel.
The music video will be released by K Imtiwati Ao, the president of Dimapur Aoli Ozukumer Telongjem and dedicatory prayer by Rev. Jongpong Pastor East Dimapur Ao Baptist Church.
Ozukum is a folk fusion artist who won the Music Award of Nagaland in 2017, 2019 and 2021. He stated that the song "Tsungrotsutonga Akangashi” is about Ozukumer clan which originated at Chungliyimti. The song is composed by himself and was also performed during the Aoli Ozukum convention and during the celebration of Aoli Ozukumer golden jubilee in December 2021.
“The song narrates and elaborates how the Ozukum clan was associated in the village and Yimrong Salang (Putu Menden). It is believed that after originating from one of the stone, the descendants migrated and settled in various Ao villages”, Ozukum stated.
