DIMAPUR — Temsumongba Ozukum, a singer‑songwriter‑composer from Dimapur, and Imnatiba Longkumer, a Kohima‑based musician who’s into pop‑indie, are teaming up for a new track slated for release on Nov 30.
This marks Longkumer’s first time collaborating on an Ao‑language song. Titled “Sempet” (meaning “talent” or “gift”), the song celebrates people born with unique abilities bestowed from above. Ozukum adds that the track reminds us not to let pride restrain our lives or gifts. The Ao‑synthwave production was recorded at Element Indie Studio.
