WOKHA — The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) Regional Office, Kolkata, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mount Tiyi College, organised a consumer outreach programme on grievance redressal at the college’s indoor stadium on Thursday.
The programme was attended by Dr. Bweyhunle Khing, principal of Mount Tiyi College, as the chief guest, and Dr. Khyopenthung Tsopoe, vice-principal of the college, as the guest of honour.

The session was chaired by Niloy Dutta, senior research officer, TRAI, while Debjit Saha, senior research officer, TRAI, delivered a detailed presentation on grievance redressal mechanisms available to consumers.
Representatives from leading telecom service providers, including Jio and Airtel, along with officials from the SP Office Cyber Cell, also attended the programme, engaging with participants and addressing queries.
The outreach initiative aimed to raise awareness among consumers about their rights, available redressal channels, and the role of service providers in ensuring transparent and efficient grievance handling.
