Technical Education dept. clarifies recruitment issue

Dimapur, Feb. 8 (EMN): The department of Technical Education on Tuesday said it had clearly mentioned in its reply, in regard to the objection raised by the Rising People’s Party (RPP) on the ongoing recruitment drive for temporary engagement of lecturers and supporting staff in the Polytechnics, that the posts advertised in the local newspapers had been requisitioned to NPSC for regular appointment.

It went on to clarify that the department ‘had not dragged the name of NPSC or blamed the Commission for inaction’ in its reply, contrary to claim made by the RPP.

The department said that the clarification has been made in order to clear misunderstanding that may arise following RPP’s press release.
