Team Strike-Fit Academy from Nagaland wins 8 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze at the Northeast India Muaythai and K1 Championship in Agartala.

DIMAPUR — Team Strike-Fit Academy, Nagaland, delivered an outstanding performance, securing a total of 11 medals — 8 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze — at the Northeast India Muaythai and K1 Championship held at NSRCC Stadium, Agartala, Tripura, from December 15 to the 17th.
The championship, along with CSD Fight Night (India vs Nepal), was organised by the Combat Sport Development (CSD) Foundation, Tripura, in collaboration with the All Tripura Amateur Muaythai Association, according to an update.
In addition to the medal achievements, the team also recorded an international professional victory with Vihuto Sema (67 kg Pro Fight) winning his professional debut bout against a Nepalese opponent.

The gold medallists were Aputo (45 kg, Male, Under-23); Hisato Ayemi (54 kg, Male, Elite); Pikato V Awomi (57 kg, Male, Under-17); Anazi Anar (60 kg, Male, Elite); Niuka Chophy (60 kg, Male (K1), Under-18); Phongmei Phom (67 kg, Male, Under-23); Ravi Raj Chauhan (60 kg, Male, Under-23); and Lemnon Konyak (45 kg, Female, Under-23).
The silver medallists were Ringpal Dey (45 kg, Male, Under-17) and Huka Ayemi (54 kg, Male, Under-23). The bronze medallist was Moangtemjen Imsong (48 kg, Male, Under-23).
The 12-member team from Strike-Fit Academy was led by Kru Hemavi as coach, Pekingto Y Jimo as team manager, and Moakumzuk Longchar as technical judge and referee.
