Dimapur, Feb. 7: Likeminded youths from Peren District who share the same passion for travelling, adventure and a better understanding of one’s own district is all set to undertake the ‘We Unite Tour” within Peren District under the aegis “Team One” from February 10.
The team planned at exploring and discovering the unknown besides the rich cultural heritage and huge land mass of Peren District. Apart from the thrill of travelling and recreational purposes, it is also the quest of the team to acquire first-hand knowledge about the various places of importance and to truly feel and understand the pulse of the district. To witness and have a better understanding of the social, educational and health standard of the different rural villages which are still far from modernization.
Slated to last about two to three weeks, the team is all prep up and rearing to go the distance. It further added that ‘We Unite Tour’ is not aimed at bringing a one stop solutions to the grievances of the rural villages but rather a survey to chalk out a long term strategies as to how they can contribute towards creating social awareness and promoting the district which still remains backward even after more than 50 years of statehood.
It is the common zeal of Team One members to contribute towards better tomorrow and to help unite the people in the common fight for social and economic upliftment. The tour is co-sponsored by KuchiRangkau, MD Hi Tech Constructions along with contributions from each member of the organization.
