Dimapur, October 12: Team Dimapur emerged as the champions of the XII Inter District & State Table Tennis Championship 2016 held at Indoor Table Tennis Stadium, while Kohima district emerged the runner-up.
In women’s singles, Thejavinuo Rio emerged as the winner while Avitoli Yepthomi bagged the runner-up.
In junior singles, Dzesevituo Metha emerged as the winner and Lhubuing as runners-up.
The other categories for the tournament will be played on Thursday, a press release informed from the association.
The Championship is organised by the Nagaland Table Tennis Association (NTTA) and hosted by the Kohima District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA).
