Dimapur, Aug. 11 (EMN): A district level workshop for Teacher Guides and Evaluators, National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC), 2018 was held at Phek Government College (PGC) on August 10 in Phek town. A press statement on Saturday informed that the programme was organised by Nagaland Institute of Health Environment and Social Welfare (NIHESW), Kohima.
According to the press note, the programme was hosted by the children’s science congress, which was a programme of the National council for science and technology communication, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
The updates informed that the district academic coordinator, Dr. Neilhousano Nakhro, who presided the session gave a presentation on ‘Introduction of National Children’s Science Congress.’
The principal of PGC Dr. Vizovol Mekro, informed about how the programme was introduced in Nagaland, whereas, Forchiba Kichu, the district coordinator, spoke on ‘Role of Teacher Guides’. The press note mentioned that a second session was also conducted. The session was presided by Forchiba Kichu, during which Dr. Neilhousano Nakhro gave a lecture on ‘Role of Evaluators’.
