DIMAPUR — The Tangha Baptist Youth Endeavour (TBYE) organised the 4th Inter-Society Swimming Competition on Thursday with block development officer (BDO), DRDA Longleng, P Angam Longho as the guest of honour.
The competition was held at Shemyung pool, Tangha village under Longleng district, a DIPR report stated.
In his address, Longho said the event was a unique one and he encouraged the youth to organise such events in the days to come. He said the event will not only strengthen peace harmony in the village but will also impact neighbouring villages.

Tangha village chairman, P Longjah Phom also delivered a short speech.
Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by the youth pastor of TBC, Lamdok and Old Melody Singers (OMS) presented a special song.
The programme was chaired by women pastor TBC, K Chüvaü.
