Dimapur, Aug. 5 (EMN): The Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) during the sanitation drive carried out in Kohima town observed that the “dirtiest and unhygienic places” are the taxi and bus stands. In this regard, the union has requested the concerned unions to take necessary measures to solve the menace and also the public to play an active role in keeping the town clean.
Stating this in a press release received here on Sunday, the union informed that the sanitation drive was conducted with a vision ‘clean Kohima.’ Around 250 volunteers under NASU unit participated in the drive.
Meanwhile, the union thanked the Kohima Municipal Council, Tourism Kohima, PHED Urban Division, CMO Kohima, ADC Kohima, Angami Students’ Union, and all the units for their support and participation in the cleanliness drive.
