  • DIMAPUR — For the first time in Nagaland, the TATA IPL Fan Park will be set up at Agri-Expo, Chümoukedima, on April 5 and 6.

  • This was announced by the honorary secretary of Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), Hyunilo Anilo Khing, during a press conference in the presence Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) representative, Prashant Mahadik, and NCA treasurer, Abei Rups, on Friday at NCA conference hall.

  • Khing informed that the BCCI has announced the return of the TATA IPL Fan Parks for the 2025 season, expanding the premier cricket viewing experience to 50 cities across 23 states and one union territory.

  • He said the Tata IPL Fan Park will bring the electrifying excitement of the Indian Premier League to Agri-Expo, Chümokedima on April 5 and 6, with a massive 32 x 18 ft centre LED screen and two side LED screens of 16 x 8 ft each, so that fans can witness every thrilling moment of their favourite teams “battling it out on the grandest stage.”

  • Khing also said that the fan park “is designed to offer an unparalleled match-viewing experience. The Tata IPL Fan Park is more than just a screening venue -it's a cricket carnival packed with interactive activities, engagement zones, and entertainment for all ages.”

  • The “exciting engagements” at the park include live match screenings, kids zone, virtual batting zone, bowling through nets, face-painting zones, replica dugouts, 360° photo booths, and ‘The perfect shot.’

  • Additionally, to make the experience even more engaging, attendees can participate in a lucky draw for a chance to win a signed player jersey. The fan park also ensures a comfortable environment with free drinking water, a food zone with minimal charges, and a strong security presence for crowd management.

  • On April 5, the matches between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals, followed by Punjab Kings against Rajasthan Royals, will be telecast live from 2:30 pm. On April 6, the Sunrisers Hyderabad versus Gujarat Titans match will be broadcast live from 6:30 pm at Agri-Expo ground, Chümoukedima, with free entry for all.
