
Abu Metha inaugurates TaFMA Lounge at Toyota Ki, Kisama on
February 28.
- KOHIMA — The
much-anticipated TaFMA (Task Force for Music & Arts) Lounge was inaugurated
at Kisama on February 28 by Abu Metha, advisor to the Chief Minister of
Nagaland & Chairman of Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland
(IDAN).
- The lounge was inaugurated in the presence of Y. Vikheho
Swu, CEO Okusa Toyota; Theja Meru, Chairman TaFMA and other esteemed guests,
musicians and artistes, stated an update.
- Pastor K. Robvü of Mao Baptist Church, Kohima, invoked God’s
blessings on the occasion.
- Addressing that inaugural programme, Metha emphasised the
significance of the lounge in fostering artistic and intellectual growth.
- “This programme may seem small, but it is significant. This
lounge will become a hub for music, arts, and creative minds. Kisama is no
longer just a small dot in Nagaland; it is a global destination. This space
will inspire musicians, artists, influencers and storytellers to showcase
Nagaland’s rich heritage and ambition,” he said.
- Metha also acknowledged the generous contribution of Toyota
India and Okusa Toyota Nagaland and extended his gratitude to the CEO for his
continued support towards the growth and aspirations of young Nagas.
- He encouraged the creative community to embrace technology
and global platforms to elevate Nagaland’s presence in the international stage.
- 'Being the best in Nagaland or India is not enough. We must
aim for excellence at the international level, he said, while challenging the
people to seize the opportunity of connecting the people globally through the
digital platform.
- With its strategic location at Kisama, the TaFMA Lounge is
set to become a vibrant meeting place for artistes, musicians and thinkers,
providing an inspiring environment for creative collaboration.
- Operated by D/Café, the space will serve as a hub for
networking, ideation, and cultural exchange, further strengthening Nagaland’s
reputation as the Land of Festivals.
