DIMAPUR — Former MLA from 6 Tening Assembly Constituency, Tarie Zeliang, has resigned from the NDPP and joined the Congress Party in the presence of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) president S Supongmeren Jamir, on May 23.
In forming this in a press release, the NPCC said the party welcomed Tarie into the party fold and acknowledged his “timely decision to strengthen the Congress party's movement to save the Soul of India.”
