Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) is all set to organise a ‘foundational
music production workshop’ at Centre of Excellence for Music and Arts (CEMA)
Minister's Hill Kohima on March 7 and the 8th.
- An update from TaFMA issued on Friday informed that the
workshop aims to equip aspiring musicians and producers with essential skills
in digital music production, creative workflow, and industry insights.
“Participants will gain hands-on experience in using Digital Audio Workstations
(DAWs), beat-making, track arrangement, MIDI programming, and recording
techniques”, the update informed.
- The workshop is also said to cover microphone techniques,
technical equipment, and the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern
music production and the industry professionals would provide valuable insights
on career development, distribution, and monetisation.
- Attendees have been requested to bring their own laptop,
notebook, headphones, and USB drive to maximise their learning experience.
