TaFMA conducts audio management workshop in Meluri
The Task Force for Music and Arts organised an audio management workshop for Meluri district

Participants and dignitaries during the audio management
workshop held in Meluri on February 27.
- DIMAPUR — The Task Force for Music and Arts
(TaFMA), under its Skilling Nagaland initiative, organised an audio management
workshop for Meluri district to equip participants with essential technical
skills in sound engineering and audio management.
- According to an update, a total of 61 participants attended
the workshop, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on
training in professional audio setup and live sound management.
- The inaugural session, held on February 27, was attended by
Mhathung Tsanglao, Deputy Commissioner of Meluri, as the special guest.
- In his address, Tsanglao emphasised the importance of
skill-based training in the creative sector and encouraged participants to make
full use of such opportunities for professional growth.
- The workshop was facilitated by Menguzelie Marcus Geisuo,
sound engineer at TaFMA, and Merensuba Sangtam, assistant sound engineer at
TaFMA. The programme was coordinated by Thsiitho Kajiri, TaFMA District Partner
for Meluri.
- This workshop is part of TaFMA’s broader mission to
strengthen the creative ecosystem of Nagaland by offering specialised training
in music and arts-related technical fields. Similar workshops have been
conducted in multiple districts.
- Under the initiative, more such workshops are scheduled to
take place across various districts in the coming months.
