KOHIMA — The Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), in collaboration with RT7 Enterprises, celebrated World Music Day at the premises of Old NST in Kohima main town on Saturday. The event brought together music enthusiasts from around the town, promoting love through the universal language of music.
It began with a heartwarming group song ‘Stand by me’ performed by the organisers and other artistes featuring Theja Meru, chairman of TaFMA, and Dr. Hovithal Sothu, project director of TaFMA, setting the tone for a day filled with music.
The event featured a diverse lineup of local artistes including Azi Rudy, Lino, Ruokuo Santsu, JV Kelio, The Ace Crew, Weekend in Kohima, Chen L, Samuel Subba and VK Khusoh. Each artiste brought their unique style and energy to the stage, captivating the audience with their performances.
The performances were a testament to the talents and creativity of the people of Nagaland.
Similar events were also held in various other districts under the aegis of TaFMA district partners.
