Sechu Zubza, Dec. 20 (EMN): Sechu Zubza Football Fans (SZFF) defeated Adroit Boys to emerge the champions at the 1st Open Penalty Shoot-out Tournament organised by
Sechu Zubza Students’ Union (SZSU). SZFF clinched the title from among 15 teams which took part in the competition held at the Don Bosco School ground, Sechu Zubza. Veteran Club bagged the third place, following their victory against SZSU. On their road to lift the title, SZFF overcame Veteran Club in the semifinals, while they overcame Five Kickers of Kiruphema in the quarters. As for the individual awards, Khobu Tsolo of SZFF bagged the title for the “most consistent kicker”, while the best keeper award was given to Visakholie Medoze of Sechu Zubza Youth Organisation. Earlier, the inaugural function was graced by Viliehu Nguzhu,
president, Angami Sports Association as the chief guest. The first prize was jointly sponsored by Thepfuneituo Rino and Visanyuzo Kuotsu, while the second prize was jointly sponsored by Seyielhoukho Sechu and Metseilhouthie Mor. The third prize was sponsored by Keviserie Talie.
