Symbios Pow-Wow 2025 kicks off at Tetso College

- DIMAPUR — The week-long Symbios 6th Pow-Wow
2025 National Level Youth Festival commenced at the Amphitheatre, Tetso
College, on Monday. It brought together students from various colleges across
the NE, along with faculty and guests.
- The festival, which will run till March 7, will feature
departmental festivals, including the Lit Fest – ‘Magnum Opus’, Psyche Fest –
‘Eunoia’, Radiance 2.0 – ‘Excellence Through Innovation’, and Ling Fest –
‘Connecting Generations’.
- The opening ceremony was attended by Col. Lovlesh Panghal,
CO 1 Nagaland Girls Bn NCC Kohima, as the special guest, stated a press
release.
- In his keynote address, Panghal emphasised the significance
of ‘perspective’ and the understanding of opportunities in the socio-economic
and cultural aspects.
- He motivated the young minds to develop competency,
noting that this age is vital and there is no space for mediocrity. He also
encouraged the gathering to maximise the use of their time over the next five
days, making the most of it.
- Dr. Hewasa L Khing, principal of Tetso College, expressed
delight in hosting more than 30 institutions from beyond the state of Nagaland
and highlighted that Nagaland has the potential to achieve the highest
standards in all fields. She encouraged the students to broaden their horizons,
learn, and compete with talent on a global scale.
- An oath-taking ceremony, led by Dr. Rosy Tep, vice principal
of Tetso College, saw students pledge their commitment to the values of
excellence, integrity, and camaraderie.
