Dimapur, July 7: Following the ongoing National Swachh Bharat campaign that was launched on 2nd Oct 2014, the Cadets of Sainik School Punglwa carried out a cleanliness drive from the school campus to Punglwa Village.
A total of six hundred cadets under the guidance of Kanu Barman, Senior Master, Sainik School Punglwa and other teachers, marched along the two kilometre route from the school to Punglwa Village, picking up all non biodegradable waste materials.
After clearing the roads the cadets went to the Punglwa market area and picked up all scattered polythene, wrappers and other waste materials. Finally, they gathered in the village and cleaned up the village area to the happiness and appreciation of the villagers.
