Sveep campaign: DEO flags off mini-marathon in Pughoboto

Dimapur, Nov. 6 (EMN): District Election Officer (DEO) of Pughoboto Thungchanbemo Tungoe on Friday flagged off a mini-marathon organisedas a part of Sveep campaign.

 Addressing the gathering, the ADC encouraged the youths to participate enthusiastically in the electoral process. “Your vote is precious than gold or diamonds so don’t let anyone snatch away your previous vote” he said.

He urged the participants to do away with proxy voting and asked them to take part in the electoral process and choose the right leader for the betterment of the society, state and country.

Cash prizes were awarded to the winners. All the participants will be given certificate on the National Voters' Day on 25th January 2021, it informed.
