Dimapur, Sep. 26 (EMN): The apex body of Committee Fair Election Compress (SAKH) Suruhuto Area Kukami hoho (SRSU) Suruhuto Student Union (CLF) Church Leader fellowship (SBAK) Aizuto Nito Mount 29 village council chairmen (SAVDBA) Suruhuto Asuto Village Development Board Association held a meeting on Sep. 15 at RD Block VDB conference hall Suruhuto town. During the meeting, the house resolved that the committee shall exercise the entire process for holding the common platform and all intending candidate in 33 Suruhuto, Asuto will be given a common platform to express themselves before the public meeting for the forthcoming election.
A press release from president Tokhevi and secretary Kahuto Awomi, stated that the meeting also resolved to ban setting up of election camp by individual or political party. The committee also adopted to set up ‘cop system’ to take necessary action against violating village. Further, the house also resolved to strictly prohibit using alcohol or drugs related substances as per the resolution passed by the committee.
