Sunrise and Love

The night escapes; comes the dawn.
The baby stirs, stretches out a yawn;
Opens her eyes and greets the morn.
The Sun itself arrives like a new born.

Fresh in its rising, majestic in colour
Of crimson delight & hues splendour,
That spread forth from eastern skies
To cast its magical spell on the eyes.

Inside, the cute baby gurgles away;
Her mother wakes up to a new day,
In humility says her grateful prayer,
T’en wit’ a kiss greets her baby dear.

Humming glad she opens t’e windows;
Two tiny eyes follow her like shadows,
As fresh air & sunshine rush in to make
Their love whole, which none dare take.
