Kohima, June 26 (EMN): The Suncity Kohima, in collaboration with Professional Basketball & Football (PB&F) Sports Management has announced to conduct a Summer Basketball Coaching Camp 2018 for both boys and girls, from July 4 till the 15th in Kohima. Renowned female coach of UBA, Chennai Slam Coach, Prasanna Jayashankar, who is also a former Indian Women Basketball team captain and presently serving as a coach in Indian Railways, will be the head coach of said camp, the organisers informed. Besides the coaching camp, Jayashankar will be scouting for talented Naga players for free
scholarship programmes in various major universities of Tamil Nadu. A Suncity release issued today stated that there will be three categories for the coaching camp sub-juniors (U-14 years), juniors
(U-18 years), and open category (no age bar). It said residential facilities will be provided for campers from other districts.
The organisers also invited students who recently cleared their HSLC/HSSLC and graduates to participate in the camp and avail the opportunity. Admissions will be on first come first serve basis as there will be
limited seats, they said, and further informed that a registration fee will be charged and certificates will be awarded to all the campers. Forms will be made available at Suncity Office, P-Khel Kohima and
Sports Paradise at Old City Bus Stand, Rüluo market Kezieke, Kohima.
