Dimapur, July 15 (EMN): A five-day Summer Bible Camp (SBC) conducted by Sunday school department of Phaipijang Christian Church on the theme "Pakai jabol kiti hi Hinna ahi" (Prov 14:27) concluded on Saturday. The programme was held from July 9 to 13th, camp director Hahao Singsit informed in an update.
The resource persons for the Summer Bible Camp were Pr. Seilen Chongloi (M. Div) and Evan. Janggoulen (M. Div).
Various activities like colour and painting, singing and acting, indoor and outdoor games, Bible recitation and learning skills were held during the camp to encourage the participants strengthen their faith in God. The campers were divided into three groups namely Team Eagles Wing, Team Cross Train and Team EBZ.
Altogether, 225 children including 108 girls and 117 boys participated in the camp.
The camp director has expressed gratitude to KCN, KCU, KCK, Sunday school department and several individuals for their contributions towards the programme.
At the closing ceremony, children and students showcased what they learned at the camp, like reading Bible memory verse, storytelling, action songs, and skits on good moral lesson.
