WSTH: The Western Sumi Totimi Hoho (WSTH) has strongly condemned the alleged raped of elderly women by Mukibur Rahman at Mishilimi village on Sep. 6.
While extending its support to the hoho’s demands, WSTH requested the law enforcing authority to grant befitting punishment to the accused, so that such crime is repeated in the future.
SAKK: The Sumi Aphuyemi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SAKK) has vehemently condemned the rape of a mentally retarded Sumi lady in its jurisdiction at Pughoboto by one Mutibur Rahman, son of Abdur Rahman, an illegal Bangladeshi immigrant, who claims to be from Karimgunj district of Assam.
The SAKK in a condemnation note stated that “such a heinous and a gruesome crime to our mothers and sisters by illegal immigrants should be condemned by one and all.” The union further appealed the concerned authorities and law enforcing agency to award befitting and exemplary punishment to avert recurrence of such crimes.
The SAKK strongly affirmed to support the 3-point resolution passed by All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) to flush out the illegal immigrant in Zunheboto jurisdiction.
KHP: The Kukami Hoho Pughoboto (KHP) has strongly condemned the rape of differently abled woman at Pughoboto by a migrant worker, Mutibur Rehman, son of Abdur Rehman of Karimganj district, Assam.
While expressing deep sense of anger and disgust, KHP strongly condemned the despicable act and also demanded that the culprit be given prompt and befitting punishment as per existing norms of the Nagas or the laws of the land. The hoho further requested the state administration to immediately take necessary steps to prevent such acts in the future through exemplary and severest punishment.
