Dimapur, July 10 (EMN): In an effort to ensure proper maintenance and construction of the two-lane road between Zunheboto and Chakhabama, a four-member committee of Sümi Hoho led by its president Hekushe Shikhu inspected the ongoing construction site on July 9.
The Sümi Hoho officials had an interaction with the general manager of the construction company and requested him to complete the two-lane road within the stipulated period. The Hoho officials also ensured that there should be no hindrance in the Zunheboto-Kohima via Chozuba route during the monsoon season as it is the most preferred route for the general public.
The officials reminded the contractors on the necessity of quality workmanship and durability of roads. Further, the officials have assured the contractors of their fullest support and cooperation for timely completion of the road. The Hoho also appealed to the public to refrain from causing any untoward incident towards the contractors so that the construction is completed at the earliest.
