Dimapur, July 27 (EMN): The Sumi Council Dimapur (SCD) has fully endorsed the Naga Council Dimapur’s demand for improving the road conditions in and around Dimapur, stating that the demand is genuine which needs to be addressed urgently.
SCD urged upon the concerned authority to take note and initiate to undertake the works immediately.
“It may be noted that there has been no positive steps taken for the last decade and a half to augment the road conditions in the entire State.
This can be attributed to total negligence on the part of the government agencies including political, bureaucratic as well as technocrats resulting in untold suffering of the general public, Therefore, the Sumi Council Dimapur has resolved to extend all possible support to the Naga Council in this connection” stated the press release issued by chairman of SCD, Kuhoi Zhimo.
Meanwhile, the SCD has convened a meeting of the office bearers and office bearers of the Sumi Totimi Hoho on July 29, 3:30 p.m. at Hotel Theja Fort, to discuss some urgent issues. All concerned have been requested to attend the same positively.
