Diphu, Feb. 20 (EMN): As an added extravaganza of the 44th Karbi Youth Festival (KYF), the Mr. Nokbe (Body building competition) was organised by Trinity Hill Society at Longbi Chedu open stage, Taralangso, Diphu, on February 18.
Subhankar Das from Lumding (Lumding gym) was declared as Mr. Nokbe 2018. He was given a cheque of INR 15000 along with a winner trophy and Certificate. Recently, Das also participated at Mr. India.
Wearank Terang from Hanjanglangso (Guwahati gym) was declared 1st runner-up. He was awarded with a cheque of INR 10000 along with a trophy. Kishor Kumar Nath from Hojai (Lumding gym) was declared 2nd runner-up. He was awarded with a cheque of INR 5000 along with a trophy and a certificate.
Amos Ronghang from Hamren (Hamren gym) was awarded the best weight lifter in the weightlifting round.
Kamaljit Meitei from Bokajan (Bokajan gym) was declared the best performance of the event and Anupam Hajong from Lumding gym was declared as the best poser.
Like every other year, Jakve Asong, a non-governmental organistion, had organised the 4th Miss KYF 2018 held at Semson Sing Ingti open stage on February. 19.
Hunmili Tissopi was awarded title of Miss KYF 2018 and Catherina Tissopi and Kointa Timungpi as 1st and 2nd Runner-up up respectively. The winners were awarded with a cheque of INR 20,000, INR 15,000 and INR 10,000 respectively. Miss Photogenic was awarded to Malin Tissopi, while the Miss personality was awarded to Sobita Teronpi and the best custume was awarded to Denika Killingpi.
