Studio-B at Doordarshan Kendra Kohima is inaugurated with modern broadcasting technology to enhance production.

DIMAPUR — Studio-B at Doordarshan Kendra Kohima (DDK) was inaugurated on October 2 in the presence of senior officials from Prasar Bharati and Doordarshan.
The inauguration was attended by Additional Director General (Technical) Ved Prakash, Additional Director General and Zonal Head of Northeast Zone Satyajeet Dash, and Additional Director General (P&D), Doordarshan and Akashvani, Abhishek Agarwal.
According to an update, in his technical report, retired Assistant Director (Engineering) Neizekhotuo Yhome highlighted the state-of-the-art equipment provided to the station and thanked the zonal office and staff of DDK for their support in setting up the studio.
Abhishek Agarwal stated that efforts would be made to establish full-fledged technical infrastructure for Studio-B, including Studio News, Studio Chain, and visual mixing facilities, in the next financial year. He also encouraged content teams to bring stories from across Nagaland to wider audiences.
Satyajeet Dash noted that the second studio had been needed for a long time and expressed appreciation for the support extended to the project. Ved Prakash stated that the equipment was of international standards and urged its effective use to showcase Nagaland’s rich heritage.
