Dimapur, April 21 (EMN): Parliamentary Secretary for Horticulture, DBs & GBs Affairs, Kejong Chang urged the students to avail right education from one’s own region instead of going far places to study.
He was exhorting the students at the inauguration of the newly built science block at Tuensang Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), on April 21 at School Auditorium.
Addressing the teachers, Kejong asked the teachers to take more responsibility in educating the students as it is impossible for a student to excel without teachers being responsible. On the other hand, he also encouraged the students to give cooperation to their teachers and urged them to compete with other higher secondary schools.
Short speeches were delivered by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang, AlemJongshi and DDEO Tuensang, Sashi Ao.
Pastor of TTBC Tuensang Rev. H. Sangkap Chang dedicated the new building. The inaugural programme was chaired by Post Graduate Teacher, Thrilichem Sangtam while L. Ason GT invoked God’s blessing and vote of thanks was proposed by AHM GHSS Tuensang, Takü Jamir.
