Kohima November 11 (EMN): The scholars and students under Merangkong Kaketshir Telongjem Kohima (MKTK) conducted an annual get together cum cleanliness drive to Puliebadze peak, Jotsoma.
Speaking with eastern mirror, Moachiba Yaden, executive member MKTK said the student body decided to undertake the task of climbing the famed Puliebdze peak to educate the younger members about the beauty and significance of the peak and at the same time profess the importance of keeping the environment clean.
He also mentioned that the student body will conduct such annual cleanliness drive in and around Kohima in tune with the call of the Kohima Municipal Council and the state government to make a plastic free and environment friendly Kohima in general and Nagaland in particular.
