Dimapur, March 19 (EMN): Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School, in Dimapur, took secondary students of class 11 and 12 from the science section on a visit to Teshora Strawberry farm located at Punglwa on March 18, in Peren district.
A report from the IPR on Tuesday stated that the programme was conducted to “help students bridge the gap between education and hands-on experience.”
Director of the school, Ani Yepthomi was stated to have said that ‘she had a wonderful experience in the farm.’
Yepthomi suggested that it would be ‘amazing if a small guest house could be erected and the area kept secured and clean so that guests and families can come for picnics and enjoy the majestic view,’ the IPR stated.
Teshora Strawberry field is said to be run by two Naga entrepreneurs Lopilo Lotha and Yamna Matchen who engage orphans, ‘educated unemployed,’ and church workers, the updates stated.
