Dimapur, May 27 (EMN): Rongmei Community Welfare Development Society of Zeliangrong Village, Sachu Colony and Nagagaon organised a felicitation program for the successful students of HSLC and HSSLC on May 27 at its Headquarter, Tangnajeiluang, Zeliangrong village, Dimapur, with Johnny Ruangmei, OSD Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority as chief guest.
On the occasion, chief guest congratulated the passed out students and encouraged them to envisage the future by quoting “beginning with the end in mind” and to prepare for future while in school. Students were asked not to dishearten with the ongoing crisis happening at present rather concentrate in studies for better prospect. For every outstanding students or persons there is a room, he added.
Ruangmei also encouraged the students work harder and better than what they have achieved at present and attempt of what they were aiming for.
While acknowledging and congratulating Rongmei community for successfully organising a program, he also asked the community to help upcoming entrepreneurs in any possible way, for every person who is economically sound has a place to control the market in commercial hub like Dimapur and grow to build better society.
Altogether 29 students were felicitated.
Other highlights of the progrsmme included special prayer for all the passed out students by Paul Pamei, Catechist of St. Francis Church of ZLR village, Indigenous Faith Follower, Tingkao Ragwang Chapriak (TRC) Tangnajeilong, presented a folk dance, special number by Kathuang Pamei, Naga Orpheus Hunt finalist 2014 and Kubanglung Pamei, a Spotlight boy who had made his name in Indihut Music.
The Program was compered by Lanilu Kamson and Gaitangliu Gonmei, invocation prayer was pronounce by Pastor Meingandai Gangmei, Dimapur Rongmei Baptist Church while welcome speech was delivered by chairman of RCWDS, Ambrose Malangmei and vote of thanks was proposed by Gaidatpou Phaomei, secretary of RCWDS.
