Dimapur, April 18 (EMN): Students of Unity College of Teacher Education (UCTE), Dimapur, enacted a play “The Champion” directed by V Uto Chishi on April 16 at Dimapur Town Hall. The event was graced by Prof. SK Sharma, Dean od School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University, Dimapur, as the special guest.
The play “The Champion” is adapted from the life of Mahatma Gandhi. The play depicted Gandhiji’s philosophy of education, his practice and teaching. The theme of the play manifested the search for truth and happiness, which is freedom.
The play was a 30 days’ workshop production by National School of Drama in collaboration with Unity College of Teacher Education and Zoe Theatre School of Ministry.
