Organisations, including Eastern Naga Students' Federation, express condolences over the deaths of two brothers in the Mokokchung landslide.
DIMAPUR — Multiple organisations have expressed condolences over the deaths of two brothers, Muwalong Sangtam, 19, and Thsidiba Sangtam, 16, who died in the landslide at Upper Penli Ward, Mokokchung Town, on July 28.
In a condolence message, the Eastern Naga Students' Federation (ENSF) conveyed its sorrow over the deaths, noting that the tragedy brought immense sorrow to the bereaved family, the student fraternity and the community.
It described the incident as a reminder of the devastating impact of natural calamities and prayed that Almighty God would grant eternal rest to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved family.

The Sitimi Area Sangtam Students' Union also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of the two brothers, describing their deaths as an immense loss for the family, village and community. It prayed that God would comfort the family during their time of grief.
The Naga People's Front also expressed grief over the deaths of the two students of Queen Mary Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung town, in the July 28 landslide. The party extended condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the departed souls rest in eternal peace and that the family be granted strength during the difficult time.
