  • DIMAPUR — The Naga Students’ Union, Delhi (NSUD), in collaboration with the Lotha Students’ Union, Delhi, organised a workshop on CUET (UG) 2025 at the Nagaland State Guest House, RK Puram, New Delhi, on March 8.

  • According to an update, the workshop was conducted specifically for members of the NSUD Admission Help Desk (2024–2025) and representatives from other non-affiliated tribes as a capacity-building exercise.

  • The primary objective of the workshop was to impart in-depth and practical knowledge about the CUET (UG) 2025, enabling the members of the NSUD Admission Help Desk and other participants to provide swift and effective guidance to Naga students, especially those back home, in matters related to CUET (UG) 2025 and the subsequent admission process.

  • The workshop was conducted by Leimiwon Zimik, assistant professor, department of Geology, University of Delhi, who has been, since 2022, voluntarily and extensively helping Naga students facing issues related to CUET.

  • It was stated that CUET, being in its nascent stage, is a dynamic examination system that is susceptible to frequent changes. Therefore, the participants were advised to keep track of and remain updated on any changes by routinely checking the official website of the National Testing Agency.

  • Besides other aspects related to the exam, the resource person emphasised the need for candidates to be thorough about the Program Specific Eligibility (subjects/tests that a candidate needs to opt for and clear to gain admission to a particular course/program) from the official website of their desired university(ies) and to choose their test subjects accordingly when filling out their application forms.

  • The NSUD also released a list of contact persons for students looking to apply for UG courses at universities in Delhi. They may reach out to members of the NSUD Admission Help Desk or tribe representatives, including Zanngasung Zimik (convenor, Help Desk) at 9560460220.
