Striving on till “REST”

Turbulent times and situations I face, Sometimes, slow down my race. Discouragement raises its ugly head And blurs my vision to go ahead. Heaven seems to go deaf to prayers Utter’d by a soul seeking answers, Whilst days fleet by sans consolation And I still remain under confusion. Hark! The soft, still voice announces, “Idle not away His gifted chances, Or give in to the lies of the adversary, Nor be trapped in his controversy, God watches & in His time will restore Your honour and you’d cry no more”... Down in the dumps but still kept alive, I’ll crawl back & continue to strive, And go on living & hoping for the best Till my earthly life comes to rest. A. Anato Swu
