Dimapur, Dec. 4 (EMN): The Dimapur unit of the All Nagaland District Ministerial Service Association (ANDMSA) has asked cashiers and accountants not to submit the ‘pay bill’ either to the Treasuries or banks and also that they should not exchange the token in the banks until the ‘pen-down agitation’ is over.
A press release from the district unit on Monday reminded that the ANDMSA will continue its ‘pen-down and computer shutdown’ agitation till Dec. 8 next, followed by a mass casual leave from Dec. 11 to 13th.
“Therefore all the departmental cashier and accountant are directed not to submit the pay bill either to the Treasuries or Bank and also asked not to exchange the token in the bank until the pen down agitation up to 8 Dec 2017 and mass casual leave is completed on 13th Dec 2017. Failure to comply with the direction, necessary action shall be initiated against those departmental cashier or accountant,” it stated.
It requested all department DDOs and staff to bear with the inconvenience.
In a separate statement, the same association has asked the offices of the executive engineer, Electrical division of Dimapur and the executive engineer Electrical division of Chumukidema to stop collection of power bills.
“...it has come to the notice of ANDMSA that the billing assistant/meter reader under your department/sub-division continue to collect revenue even during the period of ANDMSA agitation. Therefore you are kindly requested to stop the collection of revenue till our pen-down and computer shutdown and mass casual leave is completed on 13 Dec 2017. Since collection of revenue come under the purview of ministerial staff,” it stated.
