Kohima, Oct. 16 (EMN): Rain accompanied by storm lashed Nagutomi village in Zunheboto district damaging properties reportedly worth several lakh, updates said.
Sources said rain and storm battered both old and new Naghuto villages at around 10:40 pm on October 15 for about 20 minutes. Fortunately, there was no loss of life. Naghuto is in the Atoizu sub-division of Zunheboto district.
According to sources, several houses were damaged while trees and plantations and electric polls were uprooted by the storm. Several paddy fields were also flattened, reports stated.
