Dimapur, Dec. 8 (EMN): To press the government of India for early settlement of Naga political issue, the Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) has decided to hold simultaneous peaceful rallies in all the eleven districts and two sub-divisions on Dec. 12.
The decision to hold peaceful rallies was taken at the federation’s meeting on Dec. 7 at Hotel Saramati in Dimapur, which was attended by officials and advisors from all the district’s GB associations, according to a statement from the NGBF on Saturday.
In the meeting, the members expressed concern over how the Naga peace process has been prolonged.
It appealed to all the gaonburas and Naga civil organisations to participate in the proposed rally to express the demand for early solution to the Naga political issue.
