
Dimapur is set to witness NAJ Spring Costume Festival and the first Nagaland State Beatbox Championship at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Nagaland on April 1. This was stated in a press note issued by one of the organisers.
The indihut beatbox event which is part of the annual technology festival ‘Ekarikthin ‘17’ at the NIT, Chumukedima will host the top 16 beatboxers in the State including popular beatboxers such as Zonimong Imchen, Otto Yeptho and Athozo Tsukru who came out among the Top 32 beatboxers at the national championships. The first ever Nagaland beatbox champion will be crowned on April 1.
The beatbox battle will be judged by Ishan Nangia-Indian Beatbox Vice Champion; MC Eucalips-CEO of Beatbox without borders and Top 16 of American Beatbox Championship and Yanpvuo Kikon- Founder of indihut and Indian Beatbox Championships.
Special appearance from pianist Zubeni Kikon, Dj Sumika and Rugks Ngouri will also be a part of the event, stated the release.
Erarikthin 2017 will host a series of technological and entertainment events including Nagaland Anime Junkies Spring Cosfest, Battle of Bands, Gaming Carnage, Robotics and featuring host of top artists such as Alobo Naga, Spunk band and Magdelene from Mizoram.
