Dimapur, May 14 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Nagaland unit, president, Visasolie Lhoungu and organising secretary, Ananta Mishar attended the national executive meet held at Delhi on May 14.
A press release from the party media cell stated that more than 200 party members including national BJP president, all national office bearers, all state in-charges, all state presidents and all organising secretaries attended the meet.
During the meeting, it was stated that planning and strategies were deliberated for each state on the parliamentary seats for all India 2019 election. It also discussed the achievements of the centrally projects and funds implemented in BJP rule states and those states BJP not in power.
It was informed that the party will be organising a programme nationwide on the completion of four years of Modi government on May 20.
According to press release, the house has announced that under NDA government 3.5 crore LPG gas were issued under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana,’ over one LED bulbs distributed under Ujala programme, over seven crore toilets built across rural India under ‘Swachh Bharat Mission.
The meeting also stated to have announce building of 50,000 lakh houses under ‘Pradhan Matri Awas Yajona,’ and also to build BJP office in all district headquarters and state office all over India.
At the initiative of All India BJP general secretary, Ramlal, one minute silent prayer was observed in the national executive meeting in remembrance of the senior BJP leader K Medom Angami from Nagaland who passed away on May 11 at Dimapur after a brief illness.
Addressing the meeting, the national president, Amit Shah said ‘since 1951 many BJP workers have scarified their lives for the Party organisation and it is because their sacrifices the party has come up to this position. Therefore, they have to honoured and remembered, the press release stated.
He asserted that the party workers should work hard without neglecting the organisational responsibilities as it is our strength when compared to other political opponents. “Ours is to be in power not only 5 or 10 years but till we eradicate poverty from the country and deliver development to the weak and poorer sections of the people in the country. In the conclusion remark he said “ My Government the best government ,” Shah said.
