State unit BJP Kisan Morcha president, Lima Longchar and the general secretary, Munthin Newmai, attended the BJP NE Kisam Morcha presidents and general secretaries meet held on January 28 in Guwahati BJP State Office, Hengrabari.
During the meet, national president of Kisan Morcha Vijay Pal Singh Tomar highlighted the achievements of BJP government at the centre in the agriculture sector. He said BJP government under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had introduced various schemes to uplift the welfare of farmers in the entire country.
He said notable schemes such as Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojana, Prime Minister Krishi Sichai Yojana, Soil Health Card, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, MUDRA loan Yojana and Aadarsh Gram Yojana have been successfully implemented and benefitted farmers of seven BJP ruled states including Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Gujarat.
The national president directed all the NE Kisan Morcha presidents and general secretaries to organize meeting in every district on the aforesaid schemes and programmes on the theme ‘Kisan Jagran Saptah’ from March 9-15.
Meanwhile, the BJP Kisan Morcha has congratulated Visasolie Lhoungu on his election as the State president. It expressed confident that the party would prosper under his leadership.
