Dimapur, April 25 (EMN): The department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services in Nagaland has announced to observe “Farmers’ welfare day” on May 2.
A department press release stated that the event was scheduled according to the directive from the Government of India. The event would also commemorate the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (village self governance campaign”) organised by the ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India.
Activities such as animal health care, artificial insemination (AI), and vaccination would be carried out during the event. All the farmers and agripreneurs are requested to participate in the programme.
