Dimapur, August 16: The 29th State Taekwondo championship will take place on August 17 to 19 at IG Stadium in Kohima; the event is organised by Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA).
NTA General Secretary Lhouliebeio Khezhie informed in a press release said that the district team should arrived on Wednesday and the State championship in various categories of both boys and girls would take place on Thursday and Friday. Around 350 to 400 participants and officials from different districts are expected to take part in the championships.On August 18, NTA President Pele Khezhie would officially declare the tournament open and the closing function on August 19 at 4.00pm would be grace by Commissioner and Secretary for the Youth Resources and Sports (YRS) L. Kire, as the chief guest.
