Dimapur, Feb. 27 (EMN): Nagaland recorded one new Covid-19 positive case on Sunday, taking the tally to 35,402 and active caseload to 119.
The state’s cumulative recoveries also increased to 33,050 with the recovery of 10 more patients in the last 24 hours.
The death toll remained unchanged at 751 with no fresh death reported on Sunday.
According to data from the department of Health and Family Welfare, the positive case was reported from Mokokchung.
Meanwhile, seven recoveries were reported in Dimapur and three in Kohima.
Out 119 active cases in the state, 107 are asymptomatic, 10 mild, one moderate on oxygen and one in ICU on ventilator.
In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 78 infections, 18 in Kohima, six each in Peren and Tuensang, four in Mokokchung, two each in Mon, Phek and Wokha, one in Longleng, while Zunheboto and Kiphire are currently Covid-19 free.
With 10,273 people testing positive for coronavirus in a day, India's total tally of Covid-19 cases rose to 4,29,16,117, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
The active cases dipped to 1,11,472, with the recovery of 20,439 patients in the last 24 hours.
The death toll climbed to 5,13,724 with 243 fresh fatalities, the data stated.
With the administration of more than 24.05 lakh (24,05,049) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 177.44 crore(1,77,44,08,129).
