Dimapur, Jan. 3 (EMN): Nagaland recorded a single-day rise of four fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the state’s total tally to 32, 206, while active caseload stands at 60.
The state’s cumulative recoveries also increased to 30,373 with three more patients having recuperated in the last 24 hours.
The death toll stands at 686 with no Covid death reported on Monday.
According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, three positive cases was reported in Dimapur and one in Kohima, while three recovered in Dimapur.
Out 60 active cases in the state, 46 are asymptomatic, 12 mild, one moderate on oxygen and one severe on oxygen.
In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 57 active cases, one in Kohima, and two in Mokokchung while Wokha, Kiphire, Peren, Phek, Mon, Tuensang, Zunheboto and Longleng are currently Covid-free.
India reports 33,750 new cases
India's Covid tally rose to 3,49,22,882 with 33,750 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Union Health ministry.
The death toll climbed to 4,81,893 with 123 more fatalities, the data showed.
It said that 10,846 patients recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 3,42,95,407, while the active cases increased to 1,45,582.
With the administration of 23,30,706 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 145.68 crore (1,45,68,89,306).
