Dimapur, March 24 (EMN): Nagaland recorded four recoveries from Covid-19 on Thursday, while no new positive cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
The state’s tally therefore stands at 35,467 and active caseload at 28.
The state’s cumulative recoveries increased to 33, 197 with the recovery of three patients in Dimapur and one in Mokokchung.
The death toll remains unchanged at 754 with no fresh fatalities reported on Thursday.
Out 28 active cases in the state, 26 are asymptomatic, one moderate on oxygen and one in ICU on ventilator.
In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 18 infections and 10 in Kohima, while Mokokchung Kiphire, Wokha, Longleng, Mon, Tuensang, Peren, Zunheboto and Phek are currently Covid-19 free.
India reported 1,938 coronavirus infections on Thursday, taking the tally of cases to 4,30,14,687, while the active cases declined to 22,427, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
The death toll climbed to 5,16,672 with 67 daily fatalities, the data stated.
Meanwhile, 2,531 patients recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 4,24,75,588.
India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 182.23 crore (1,82,23,30,356).
