Dimapur, Feb. 20 (EMN): Nagaland on Sunday reported two new Covid-19 positive cases, taking the state’s Covid tally to 35357.
One case each was reported from Dimapur and Phek, according to data from the department of Health and Family Welfare.
The active cases declined to 264 with the recovery of 33 patients in the last 24 hours. The recoveries were reported from Dimapur (13), Kohima (19) and Mokokchung (one).
Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 749 with no deaths reported on Sunday.
Out of the 264 active cases, 199 are asymptomatic, 60 mild, three moderate on oxygen, and two in ICU on ventilator.
India reported 19, 968 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total virus tally to 4,28,22,473, according to data from the Union Health Ministry on Sunday.
The active cases dipped to 2,24,187, with the recovery of 48,847 patients in the last 24 hours.
The death toll climbed to 5,11,903 with 673 fresh fatalities, the data stated.
With the administration of more than 30.81 lakh (30,81,336) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 175.37 crore (1,75,37,22,697).
